eager to learn.” The report from 2013 went on to comment on how: “Pupils are responsible. They enjoy looking after new pupils who speak English as an additional.”

Barclay Primary School

Barclay Primary School opened in September 2006 after the successful amalgamation of the separate Infant and Junior schools. It caters for children from nursery to age 11. In June 2011, the school was judged to be ‘Good with many outstanding features’, while the most recent KS2 data puts Barclay in the top 8% of schools nationally for educational achievement.
