Something for bike lovers

Urban biking is taking London by storm and if you’re a bicycle lover, then don’t miss the launch of HemingwayDesign’s B Spoke. A collection of urban cyclists, classic and vintage bicycle enthusiasts, independent makers, designers, traders and creative brands assembling to show, share and sell their work. There will also be music, food, a bar and volunteers to tune up your bike for free!

Don’t miss out on a free bike health check from Racer Rosa! And look out for the Bike Basket/Pannier Competition where your customised Tour de Waltham Forest ride could win you £100 worth of High Street vouchers!

Something for sport lovers

Of course, the festival isn’t just for bike enthusiasts. For sports fans, there is a five-a-side girls football match for the Summer Fest trophy. There will also be volleyball and rugby matches.

For those who prefer something more relaxing, there will be traditional favourites like target golf, putting and bean bag toss contests. These, of course, include chances to win wonderful prizes.

Something for art lovers

For the grown-ups who like a bit of creativity, two local artists, Gemma Seddon and Poppy Flint are setting up Less Mess Monster- A Tail for Dagenham Brook. They will be leading creative workshops and asking people to share memories of the local area. This will culminate in contributing to ideas for an online gallery, open-air exhibition and a public sculpture for the bank side of Dagenham Brook in Leyton Jubilee Park too.

Something for everyone

If all this wasn’t enough, the Real Ale Tent will be hosting various brewers. They will be more then happy to give you a taste of the wares and talk hops with you all day. Enjoy with food from various food stalls and trucks cooking up all sorts of scrumptious goodies to keep you going all day.

For the parents amongst you, don’t worry a Kids Zone is being provided. This will keep your little ones engaged in learning exercises and creative activities.
